Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 Aug 2026. This policy covers futurefrontiers.ai, the Frontier Intelligence service at app.futurefrontiers.ai, and the emails we send.

Plain-English summary, which does not replace the policy below. We collect what you give us, account details, your profile context, your lens settings and ratings, and we use it to run and personalize the Service. Your inputs are processed by AI model providers to generate your briefs, digests, and answers. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card. We do not sell your data. If you use group features, what you share is visible to your group. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Future Frontiers is operated by Essential Cognition Inc., Austin, Texas ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect and how we use it across the futurefrontiers.ai website, the Frontier Intelligence application, and the report and service emails we send. Questions go to the contact in Section 13.

2. What we collect

Account data. Name, email address, and a password, handled through our authentication provider. Optional details you add, such as a preferred name, avatar, location, and language.

Profile context. The background, goals, and organization details you enter in My Profile. These exist to personalize the Service and are used as context when your briefs and answers are generated.

Lens configuration and feedback. Your lens settings, the signals you rate, save, or dismiss, your questions in interactive features, and your report delivery preferences.

Usage data. How you use the Service, such as which reports you open and which features you use, along with technical basics like device type and approximate region derived from your connection.

Payment data. Handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your subscription status and the last digits of your card for reference; we never receive or store full card numbers.

Group content, when group features are available to you. Sources you contribute, comments and annotations you share, and the material your agent exchanges with the agents of other group members.

3. How we use it

To run the Service and personalize it to you, which is the point of the product. To send you the reports you turned on and necessary service messages, such as billing and security notices. To improve the Service, using aggregated and de-identified patterns rather than your individual content. To bill you, through Stripe. To keep the Service secure and to meet legal obligations.

4. AI processing, said plainly

The analysis in the Service is generated by an automated agent system that uses third-party AI model providers. To generate your content, relevant data, including your profile context, lens configuration, feedback, and questions, is sent to those providers for processing. We select providers whose terms restrict them from using data submitted through their business interfaces to train their publicly available models, and we do not use your individual content to build products for anyone else. [Counsel: verify current provider terms before finalizing this sentence.]

5. Who we share with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share data with the service providers who run the product for us, listed in Section 6, under contracts limiting their use of it. If you use group features, the content you share into a group is visible to that group's members, as described in the Terms of Service. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.

6. Our service providers

Stripe for payments. Supabase for authentication and data storage. [Email delivery provider] for sending reports and service email. [AI model providers] for content generation. [Hosting provider] for infrastructure. We will keep this list current as providers change.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. When you close your account, or ask us to, we delete your personal data within [30] days, except what we must retain for legal, billing, or security reasons, and residual copies in backups that expire on their own schedule. Aggregated, de-identified data may be retained.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your account, profile, and lens data in the application, and manage which reports reach your inbox under My Reports. You can request a copy of your data or its deletion by writing to the contact below. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing; we will honor valid requests.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to what operating the Service requires, and credentials are handled by our authentication provider rather than stored by us in plain form. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every breach, but we will notify you as required by law if one affects your data.

10. Children

The Service is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. International use

We operate from the United States and process data there. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. For material changes we will give notice, such as by email or in the Service, before they take effect.
