Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 August 2026. These terms govern futurefrontiers.ai and the Frontier Intelligence service at app.futurefrontiers.ai.

Plain-English summary, which does not replace the terms below. We publish analysis generated by an AI agent system. It is information, not advice, and not investment advice. We work hard on quality but do not promise completeness or accuracy, and we will sometimes miss things. You pay monthly, you can cancel anytime, and fair-use limits apply to interactive features. If you use group features, what you share is visible to your group, and only upload material you have the right to share.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Future Frontiers is operated by Essential Cognition Inc., Austin, Texas ("we," "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us and cover the futurefrontiers.ai website, the free newsletters and podcasts, and the paid Frontier Intelligence service ("the Service"). By using the site or the Service, you accept these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. What the Service is

Frontier Intelligence collects signals from public and licensed sources across AI, robotics, humanoids, and space, and delivers curated, ranked, and personalized analysis, including digests, briefs, deep dives, and interactive question-and-answer features. Your configuration, your feedback, and your usage shape what the Service surfaces for you. Some capabilities described in these terms, including group features, contributed sources, and agent-to-agent exchange, may not yet be available on your plan or at all; the terms covering them apply when and if you use them.

3. AI-generated content

The analysis, summaries, rankings, briefs, deep dives, and interactive answers in the Service are generated by an automated agent system using machine learning. That is the design of the product, not a footnote. It means the Service can be personalized and frequent in a way human production cannot, and it also means outputs can contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or plausible-sounding statements that are wrong. You are responsible for verifying anything you act on.

4. Not investment, legal, or professional advice

Nothing in the Service is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security or asset, legal advice, tax advice, or professional advice of any kind. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. The Service provides information and analysis for general informational purposes. Any decision you make, including investment decisions, is yours alone, and you bear its full risk. If you need advice, engage a qualified professional.

5. Accuracy, completeness, and coverage

We do not warrant that the Service is accurate, complete, current, or uninterrupted. Signal coverage depends on sources, and we decide which sources we monitor. We may miss developments entirely, cover them late, or characterize them differently than others would. Numbers, dates, and figures in outputs are not commitments and may be wrong. We may correct, amend, or remove content at any time without notice.

6. Accounts

You need an account for the paid Service. Keep your credentials confidential; activity under your account is your responsibility. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared or resold. Provide accurate information and keep it current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans bill in advance on a recurring monthly basis at the price shown at purchase, plus applicable taxes, processed by our payment provider (Stripe). You can cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with notice, effective at your next renewal. Promotional codes grant the access we state when issuing them and can carry their own conditions and end dates.

8. Fair use and service limits

Interactive features, including Ask and personalized deep dives, are subject to fair-use limits so the Service stays fast and economical for everyone. We may meter usage, including the number of requests, the compute or tokens consumed, and, when voice features launch, minutes of interaction. We may throttle, queue, or decline usage that substantially exceeds normal individual use, and we may publish specific quotas per plan. Automated scraping, bulk export, or programmatic access outside interfaces we provide for that purpose is not permitted.

9. Your license to the content

Subscription content is for your individual professional use. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not republish, resell, redistribute, or systematically share subscription content, train machine-learning models on it, or provide it to third parties as a service. The Service, its software, models, configurations, and content remain our property or that of our licensors.

10. Your input and feedback

You keep ownership of the questions, configurations, and feedback you put into the Service. You grant us a license to use them to operate, personalize, and improve the Service, including improving our models and curation. We do not sell your individual inputs. Aggregated, de-identified usage patterns may inform the product for all users.

11. Contributed content, groups, and agent exchange

These provisions apply to group features (internally, Clusters) when they are available to you.

Contributed sources. Group members may be able to contribute material for the Service to ingest and analyze, such as links, feeds, articles, papers, notes, and PDF documents. If you contribute material, you confirm that you have the right to provide it for this use. Do not upload material you are not permitted to share, including paywalled or licensed content that prohibits redistribution. You are responsible for what you upload, and you grant us a license to store, process, and analyze it to provide the Service to you and your group.

Sharing within a group. Content you share into a group, including comments, annotations, ratings, contributed sources, and analyses, is visible to the members of that group. Groups are closed spaces and we do not move shared content between groups, but we cannot control what individual members do with what they can see. Share accordingly.

Agent-to-agent exchange. Group features may include automated exchange between members' agents, in which your agent shares summaries, perspectives, questions, or feedback derived from your activity and configuration with the agents of other members of your group, and receives the same in return. By joining a group with these features enabled, you consent to this exchange within that group. Agent output remains AI-generated content under Section 3 and is not advice under Section 4.

12. Third-party sources

The Service references and links to third-party sources. Those sources belong to their owners, and our analysis of them does not imply their endorsement. Your use of linked third-party sites is governed by their terms.

13. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we use it, including account and profile data, payment data handled by Stripe, usage data that personalizes your lens, and the processing of your inputs by our AI model providers.

14. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, add, or remove features, and may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice, refunding any prepaid amounts for periods after discontinuation.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or trading or investment losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

17. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or material you contribute without the right to do so.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice, such as by email or in the Service, before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction. [Optional for counsel: arbitration clause and class-action waiver.]
